Garbage Collection is Curbside pickup. A maximum of three 32 gallon containers or their equivalent will be picked up. HOUSE NUMBERS MUST BE CLEARLY VISIBLE ON ALL CONTAINERS.
**GARBAGE MAY BE PLACED AT THE CURB THE NIGHT BEFORE OR NO LATER THAN 6 A.M. THE MORNING OF PICK-UP. EMPTY CONTAINERS MUST BE REMOVED FROM CURBSIDE NO LATER THAN 8 A.M. THE FOLLOWING MORNING.
***BULK PICKUP WILL BE ON YOUR FIRST GARBAGE DAY OF THE WEEK COMMENCING THE SECOND MONDAY IN SEPTEMBER CONTINUING THROUGH THE FRIDAY IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING MEMORIAL DAY. No large appliances (see recycling) or building materials will be accepted on these bulk pickup days. Please cut tree limbs (only 3" in diameter accepted) and carpet pieces into three foot lengths and tie in bundles. Loose twigs and other small yard rubbish (OTHER THAN GRASS AND LEAVES) can be placed in open containers or trash bags and will be picked up on your bulk pickup day. ONLY ONE LARGE BULK ITEM ALLOWED PER PICKUP. A BULK ITEM IS ANY ITEM LARGER THAN A 32 GAL. CONTAINER.
**The Borough has arranged for two additional special bulk pickups. The first from 5/19/08 through 5/23/08 and the second from 9/8/08 through 9/12/08. During these time frames ON YOUR FIRST WEEKDAY GARBAGE COLLECTION ONLY a maximum of 5 bulk items will be picked up. Included are a limit of two 32 gal. containers of home generated building materials (wood, sheetrock, etc.) not to exceed 4 feet in length with nails removed.
No recyclable materials, hazardous waste, white goods or concrete will be accepted.
**THESE DATES AND CONDITIONS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED BY CODE ENFORCEMENT. SUMMONSES WILL BE ISSUED TO VIOLATORS.

NON-TRADITIONAL ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL
Hazardous Waste: (Paints, Oils, Pesticides, Pool Chemicals,etc.) must be brought to the Monmouth County Hazardous Waste Facility by appointment only. (Monmouth County
residents only). Call 732-922-2234 to schedule an appointment. Open 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Household Batteries can be dropped off at Borough Hall.
Empty Paint Cans only can be disposed of with your regular trash.
All Propane tanks - full or empty must be taken to the County Hazardous
Waste Facility.
Phone Books may be taken to the Borough Recycling Center.
