ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF FINANCE – MANASQUAN BORO. Full-time assistant to CFO. Successful candidate should have a degree in accounting. Experience and knowledge of Edmunds Financial System a plus. Duties include daily overview of bank balances, monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, grant and capital accounting and processing, and instruction and support to staff. Additional responsibilities include assistance in preparation of budgets, revenue and appropriation analysis, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing and posting, and backup for other finance and tax staff. CLERK III (BUILDING DEPARTMENT) – MANASQUAN BOROUGH. Performs highly responsible administrative and clerical work required in the Building/Code department including but not limited to: supervising personnel, scheduling inspections, processing permits, extensive interaction with public, collecting permit fees, data entry, heavy phone interaction, and budgeting and revenue analysis. Must have strong customer service and computer/excel skills. Experience in Construction and Code Preferred. Knowledge of Edmunds a plus.
