As the 2012 official beach season kickoff begins with the Memorial Day Weekend, Manasquan residents and beach goers have much more to be proud of this year.
The New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium announced the winners of the New Jersey's Top Ten Beaches with Manasquan Beach voted the winner of this most coveted award. This announcement marks the first time in the five year history of the NJ Sea Grant Consortium Top Ten Beaches program that Manasquan was named.
The people of Manasquan, their guests and tourists alike recognize the borough beaches as a "family friendly" destination filled with a pristine mile long beach, fine dining and casual-comfortable restaurants for every taste, events for all to enjoy and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again.
Mayor Dempsey and members of Council recognize the decision makers of the past and present for continually improving the quality of it's beaches and the efforts and dedication of its employees and volunteers for making Manasquan one of New Jersey top ten.
